Transport by bus to Varistaipale Canal

Transport back to Kolmikanta

Day 3: Canoeing on the 12 Lakes Canoeing Trail in the Wilderness and Nature Center

Day 4: Exploring the mining town of Outokumpu by e-bike & Bird Watching Evening

Breakfast

Cycling to the city center of Outokumpu (6 km) with the guide

Visiting the mining town of Outokumpu and the Old Mine and Mining Museum

Lunch 

Guided walking tour on city center

Cycling back to the Kolmikanta Camp Center (6 km)

Dinner

Sauna & Swimming

Guided Bird Watching Night: We observe the birds living in the area late at night in complete silence, 1,5 hour. Among the others the following species nest in the Kolmikanta area: black grouse, black woodpecker, loon, swan, swallow and goldeneye.

Day 5: Day trip to Koli National Park & visiting Syrjävaara Dark Sky Center

Breakfast

Transfer by bus to Koli

Visiting Koli nature Center Ukko

Lunch

Guided walking tour in Koli National Park

Transfer by bus to the Syrjävaara Dark Sky Center

Dinner in Syrjävaara

Guided tour in Syrjävaara Dark Sky Center

Transport back to Kolmikanta by midnight & late supper

Day 6: Fishing and Cooking

Brunch and relaxed morning in Kolmikanta.

Afternoon: A fishing trip to the area of Wilderness and Nature Center

We fish from the shore and from a boat with a rod and reel. We prepare fish with a local twist.

Campfire & barbeque in the Wilderness and Nature Center area

Sauna, swimming and hot tub

Day 7: Camp school closing party and local traditional delicacies 

Breakfast and lunch

Accommodation & Facilities: 

• 38 beds, 7 rooms 

• 10 cottages, 31 beds 

• 8 Caravan Sites 

• Tent Sites & possibility to rent large and small tents 

• Shared toilets and showers in the hallway 

• Sauna & Hot Tub & Swimming in the lake available every evening
